Potentially the least processed of all milk based proteins, micellar casein has been popular amongst bodybuilders and strength athletes for some time. Micellar casein is produced by ultra filtering skimmed milk leaving behind un-denatured micellar casein protein. This gentle process leaves many fragile structures intact, making micellar casein a high quality, amino packed protein.
Peptide Fusion contains an ultra filtered whey protein derived from sweet dairy whey from skimmed milk. The whey is extracted at temperatures that help to preserve the peptides within the protein, and is spray dried to make Peptide Fusion easy mixing. This particular whey protein is high in protein and low in unwanted fat and lactose, lower than other brands. Each batch is tested to ensure it meets the strict requirements of Reflex.
Lastly, Peptide Fusion contains an egg white sources protein. Like whey protein, egg white protein has a high bio-availability, meaning more of the protein content can be used by the body. Egg white protein is extremely low in fat and carbohydrates, being almost totally comprised of protein. This protein is absorbed at a medium rate, slow than whey but faster than micellar casein, ensuring the body has a steady stream of protein available to it throughout the day.
